ShubhMuhurat 2022: Date and Time
There is surely no need for us to convince you of the importance of ShubhMuhurat in 2022. From performing a simple pooja to sending rockets to the Moon, Indians have always relied on Shubhmuhurats to start any kind of auspicious task. And with always, we really mean back from the Vedic times when sages actually started the practice of finding the Shubhmuhurats for different purposes. As Hinduism grew, the belief of people started to shift and they started considering that if any auspicious work is to be done, it must be done on the right day, date, and time.
But the question is, how does one decide whether the given time is right or wrong? Or how does all this Shubhmuhurat thing actually work?
There are various ways followed by different astrologers to find the auspicious ShubhMuhurat. Let’s understand it the simple way. The most important thing to be considered to know the Shubhmuhurat is to find the planetary positions. Astrology consists of nine planets called Navagraha, and these planets occupy one spot in any of the 12 houses in your Kundli. These 12 houses associate with marriage, education, health, etc.
Therefore, as per Vedic Astrology, people believe that ShubhMuhurat is that time during which the planet’s position and Nakshatras in the solar system seem auspicious to perform any important task. This is the reason why people believe that following this will attract more success and lead to a fruitful life, without the interference of any obstacles and hindrances.

Importance of ShubhMuhurat 2022
In the modern era, why is it still important to find the ShubhMuhurat before starting anything auspicious? Why is it necessary?
Well, anything and everything that we work hard for, the intention is to be successful. I think everybody has an intention to achieve the most of everything in life, by performing tasks to the best of their abilities. And working hard isn’t just necessary to achieve your desired goals. A rickshaw puller also works hard, and the CEO of a company also works hard, but a lot of it also depends on your luck. I think most of us will agree that a pinch of luck does play an important role here, and astrology can help you here.
According to Vedic Astrology, success, and prosperity in a relationship, while performing a task, or buying something new can only be met if it is done during a ShubhMuhurat calculated on the basis of the placement of planets and constellations (Nakshatras). That is why the auspicious ShubhMuhurat holds so much importance in the modern era.
This tradition of finding ShubhMuhurat before any important event has been performed since the ancient Vedic times. The kings in the earlier times were also suggested to do things after knowing the auspicious date and time, even at the time of wars. Many Hindu sculptures and Vedic texts also signify the importance of Shubhmuhurats. Even during the time, Ravan’s son was about to be born, many Gods had asked the planets to move to an inappropriate position and house so that his son wasn't born at an auspicious time. This story is proof that Shubhmuhurats have a strong impact on our life.
In the 21st century, people have stopped getting checked their kundlis, and don’t consider looking for the correct time to start a new venture, or for any other important event. The effect has been witnessed in a gradual downfall in the success ratio even after constant efforts.
How do astrologers find ShubhMuhurats?
While we have discussed the importance of Shubhmuhurat and what it means, the next question that arises in anybody’s head would be, how is a ShubhMuhurat calculated? It can correctly be known only with the help of a practicing astrologer.
To find the ShubhMuhurat 2022, apart from the position of the planets, we also consider other astrological elements like - Tithi, Nakshatra, Shubh yoga, inauspicious yoga, Lagna, Rahu Kaal, Bhadra, Adhikmaas, etc.
Based on these terms the auspicious and inauspicious time is calculated. The auspicious time is called the ShubhMuhurat while inauspicious time means the exact opposite. The former gives you an idea of at what time something shouldn’t be done. In a simpler way, this can also be called your unlucky time and it is more likely that you won’t find success or may face it harder to perform your desired task, event, or ritual.
Thus, you should have the knowledge of inauspicious timings whenever you are trying to find the ShubhMuhurat. As per astrology, there are in total of 30 shubhmuhurats in a day. In 24 hours, each muhurat stays for at least 48 minutes. This means that a Muhurat is equal to Do Ghadi or 48 minutes and one should finish any important task within these 48 minutes.
Types of ShubhMuhurat 2022
We know by now that a 24-hour day has 30 muhurats in total. The first Muhurat begins at 6 a.m. and goes on for 48 minutes. This is called the Rudra Muhurat and comes under the category of inauspicious Muhurat. The next Muhurat that begins 48 minutes after the first one is the Ahi Muhurat. This is also an inauspicious Muhurat. Below is a list of all the Shubhmuhurats with
