Rohit Sharma was born on 30 April 1987. He is a famous Indian cricket player. He currently plays for Mumbai Indians in IPL and also serves as the captain of the team. He is a right-handed batsman and a relevant right-arm off-break bowler in the Mumbai Indians team. He is the Vice-Captain of the Indian National Team. Rohit played his first match for the Deccan Chargers team in 2008. The Deccan Chargers team is a team from Hyderabad. In this contract, he was given an estimated amount of 5 crores. In the next IPL auction, Rohit was bought by Mumbai Indians for $2 million.

He has a younger brother named Vishal Sharma. Due to the low income of Rohit's father, he used to live with his grandparents in Borivali. His grandparents brought him up. 

He used to go to his parent's house in Nagpur only for 2 days. He joined the cricket camp with his uncle's money. He also used to play cricket at his school. He played a match for the Deodhar Trophy at the age of 18.

Personal and Love life
Rohit Sharma is married to Ritika Sajdeh a sports professional. She used to do brand endorsement work for the Mumbai Indians team. Rohit and Ritika met in 2008 during a brand shoot. They were in a relationship for 6 years and they got married on 13 December 2015 from which they have a daughter.
