First-class, List A, and Twenty20 cricket, all of which are played domestically and internationally, count him as the 16th player and the first Indian to reach 50,000 runs. He achieved this milestone on October 5, 2013, while representing Mumbai Indians, his IPL franchise, against Trinidad & Tobago in a Champions League Twenty20 tournament.
2. Centuries
With 51 centuries in Tests, 49 in ODIs, and 100 across all Tests and ODIs, Tendulkar holds the record for most centuries. He is the first player to reach 50 centuries in international cricket overall and is the only one to do so in Test cricket.

Sachin retired from all forms of cricket in 2013 and in the same year he was awarded the country's highest civilian honor 'Bharat Ratna'.
