On the other hand, it seems to have upset some social media users and a well-known boycott trend has been renewed on social media like Twitter with the crazy hashtag #BoycottPathaan. They slummed the entire composure by highlighting that the Saffron color is a symbol of strength and courage and also we have saffron color on the top of our national flag, hence overall sentiments have been hurt.
Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Narottam Mishra has openly expressed his objection that if the producer-director does not make changes to the film, then the state government can stop the release of the film. He said— "The actor and actress in the song Besharam Rang, filmed with a corrupt mindset, have been dressed in green and saffron-colored clothes in an objectionable manner."
The Colour of these clothes, at the same time, he also called the title of the song 'Besharam Rang' as objectionable that needs improvement else the permission to release this film in MP state should be given or not will be a thinkable question.
