There is great importance in worshiping Lord Vishnu and reciting Satyanarayan Katha on the day of Vaishakh Purnima. By reciting and listening to the Satyanarayan Katha on this day, all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled and the desired results are achieved.

Vaishakh Purnima 2023 Puja Method
➡ On this day wake up early in the morning and take a bath in the holy river if it is not possible to go to the river, then take a bath by mixing Ganga water in the water at home.
➡ After this wear clean clothes.
➡ After this, purify the place of worship by sprinkling Ganges water.
➡ Now light a lamp in front of Lord Vishnu and do tilak with turmeric.
➡ After this, worship Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi methodically with fruits and flowers.

Vaishakh Purnima Fasting and Rituals
Fasting and doing good deeds on Vaishakh Purnima gives auspicious results. The worship method of this full moon fast is similar to other full moon fasts, but some religious rituals performed on this day are as follows-

➡ One should bathe in a holy river, reservoir, well, or stepwell in the morning before sunrise on the day of Vaishakh Purnima. After the bath, one should offer Arghya to the Sun God while reciting Surya Mantra.

➡ After taking bath, one should worship Lord Vishnu by taking the vow of fasting.

➡ Offering an urn and dish filled with water for the sake of Dharmaraj on this day gives fruits like cattle.

➡ By giving sesame seeds with sugar to 5 or 7 needy persons and Brahmins, sins are destroyed.

➡ Light sesame oil lamps on this day and offer sesame seeds especially.

➡ Take one meal on this day during the fast.

Significance of Vaishakh Purnima
There is a law to worship Dharmaraj on Vaishakh Purnima, so there is no fear of premature death due to the effect of this fast. It is believed that when Sudama, the childhood companion of Lord Shri Krishna, came to meet him in Dwarka, Lord Shri Krishna told him the law of Satya Vinayak Purnima Vrat. Due to the effect of this fast, all the poverty in Sudama was removed.
