When will Eid be celebrated in India?
According to the Islamic calendar, the date of Eid has been announced in Pakistan. The date of Eid in Pakistan will be 22 April. In India too, Eid is expected to be celebrated on April 22. Ramadan actually began this year in Pakistan as well as other Arab nations. In other words, the first Rose was held in Arab countries on March 23 while it was kept on March 24 in India.

Eid will be observed on April 22 if the moon is visible in India on April 21. There will only be 29 fasts in India in such a case. Whereas a full 30 days will be observed in Pakistan and other Arab countries.

The Sunnah of the Prophet 
The Eid prayer includes some of the following guidelines, which every Muslim should follow— 
1. Before going to pray, take a wash or perform ablution.
2. Use a Miswaak or a toothbrush.
3. Dress to impress on this day.
4. Should apply perfume.
5. Before leaving for the Eid Al-Fitr prayer, eat an odd number of dates. (953 in Sahih Bukhari). 
6. Before offering the Eid prayer, make sure you have paid the Zakat Al-Fitr.
7. Upon leaving for and coming back after Eid prayer, recite  "Takbeerat".
